Well, it's been around for a very long time, so there is probably a good reason for it, but I lack the knowledge for said reason. But alas, Valentines Day isn't all about the romantic side of things, it's about celebrating all forms of love for all the people in your life that you care about, from your friends and family to other people that might have influenced you. You can still hate the Holiday if you like, but take that perspective into consideration if you will.
Regardless, hope you have fun with Helldivers 2.
